There are few traits about Tokyo that I found quite consistently every time I was there and that I wanted to document in this project. The order and politeness of people and institutions, the contrast between tradition and modernity, the shyness of couples who barely make physical contact, the fashion and design attitude, the elegance, the (awesome) rush at every crossroad, the craziness of people that want to rebel against a very strict society, the lack of control after a few beers and sake at night and after a whole day (often 16 hours) at work. Everything packed in an incredible urban framework like Tokyo.
In this sense, ToKYo 24x24 is a [digital] roll of street photography aiming at documenting all those traits.
Tokyo 24x24 made it to the permanent winners gallery at the Urban DotArt 2015 contest.
